Matching the time of the Centaur’s rule, the Lyrderyns rule over the desolate deserts of the Canicule. They are by far the richest family, being at the source of the trade in all of Austellus. A fairly new power to rise in the Canicule, not much is known about the Lyonis family. The current Lord of Lynxrock, Ayden Lyonis, has made controversial political moves to enhance both his power and his status, one of those moves being to wed his sister to the Lord of Ignis, Lord Reynold Lyrderyn, securing a powerful bond between the two kingdoms. Though, without a legitimate heir, nor a wife to show for, it seems this house’s name has numbered days.
